Advanced Water Treatment, Inc was founded by Gordie and Valerie Amsdill in 1993 after the need arose to move to West Virginia. Gordie had worked in the Richmond, VA area for several years prior for another water treatment company. There he discovered a passion for water treatment. His passion was infectious. After starting Advanced Water Treatment, Inc., he spent the next 26 years growing the business and welcoming customers into the family. Now we are a company with 5 employees and roughly 3000 customers. Things are a little different now but we are still a family oriented company with 2 of our sales and service technicians being brothers. Gordie passed away in 2019 but his legacy lives on, as we carry on his passion with dedication. We work hard to take care of our current and future customers because in the end you become like family. After having loyal customers for more than 25 year, what else can they be but family?
